Winter where I live is cold, the town is 700 metres above sea level and there is lots of rain, frequent heavy frosts, and sometimes snow. Nothing at all by European standards, or those of the Australia High Country, for a winter climate, but cold nevertheless. This morning is cold, wet and misty. Even in miserable weather, it is often possible to find something beautiful to photograph, and these were taken recently on a very frosty morning.
