I wish I had know this topic was coming, and I would have posted those lovely tree fern fronds this week instead of this one. For me, one of the joys of Spring is watching the greening of trees as their new leaves develop from promising tiny buds, unfurling to perfect shiny little leaves, before expanding to their full size…….These are new leaves on my small Ginkgo biloba tree – a gorgeous colour and drenched in early morning dew.
And some others of the renewal of trees……
Apple Tree
Sycamore Tree
Sycamore Tree
Japanese Maple
All most beautiful images, portraying the Renewal theme, but the Ginkgo is especially apt, with it being a living fossil, from eras long past.
Ohh, I can just agree, all of them are wonderful, but the Ginko is exquisite. Ancient but still so vivid.
I loved going through your garden and seeing the renewals… budds, flowers, butterflies, bees….. agents and their soothing ‘thandav’ (dance)

Springing into life! Love new shoots … unlike flowers they last all over summer and into autumn.
Absolutely lovely photos! Thank you.
