A late afternoon walk in a nearby Botanic Gardens resulted in these heavily saturated images – deep rich greens and browns heightened by recent rains and overcast skies. It was truly beautiful. The heavens opened again as we were leaving.

Those logs are magnificent … though that was not my impression when the man of the house brought home two logs about the size those slabs before they became slabs. Though have to admit, I rather liked the logs, just not him bringing them home without some help!
