I have loaned my Macro lens to my son, and for the last couple of weeks have been using the 18-55mm lens around the garden and for some landscape photos. I discovered that one can get quite good close up photos with it, but I do not think the quality of the shot is as good – just not as sharp, even using a tripod. Here are some of the most recent fungi photos……I’m amazed at the numerous varieties which are coming up…..different sizes, colours, shapes, textural consistency, habitat and duration, some only live a day or so before withering away to nothing or being eaten by slugs and snails.
.I hope you enjoy these……..I hope to be shooting macro again next week.
Incredible photos Sue–as always I am gobsmacked.
See! It’s not the equipment but the photographer who makes the photo good.
