Where are the Pixies….?

I have loaned my Macro lens to my son, and for the last couple of weeks have been using the 18-55mm lens around the garden and for some landscape photos.  I discovered that one can get quite good close up photos with it, but I do not think the quality of the shot is as good – just not as sharp, even using a tripod.  Here are some of the most recent fungi photos……I’m amazed at the numerous varieties which are coming up…..different sizes, colours, shapes, textural consistency, habitat and duration, some only live a day or so before withering away to nothing or being eaten by slugs and snails.

I hope you enjoy these……..I hope to be shooting macro again next week.

  2. See! It’s not the equipment but the photographer who makes the photo good.
